Interview excerpts on the topic of "Pioneers"

The interviews were conducted in 2020 and 2021 as part of a study by the Humboldt University of Berlin, and the questions were created by the children themselves. Students accompanied the children in developing the questions and in the interview situation. The structure of the interviews cannot be clearly assigned to a classic qualitative interview form, but rather they are guideline-based interviews with narrative passages. The excerpts have been selected from longer transcripts, in order to provide a broad insight into how the contemporary witnesses describe their childhood in conversations.
