The teacher Dr. Tenner can be seen during the recording of a German lesson in an eigth grade class by the Pedagogical Laboratory (Pädagogisches Labor) of the Humboldt University in Berlin (HUB). The teacher's gestures were of particular interest when selecting this sequence for historical analysis.

In the lesson, Dr. Tenner tries to work on the topic of "discussion" (Diskussion) theoretically and supports it with examples. The recording is part of a larger collection of audio-visual lesson recordings that have been handed down from the work of the Pedagogical Laboratory at HUB, are stored digitally by the Research Data Centre for Education (Forschungsdatenzentrum Bildung, FDZ) and are available for research and educational purposes upon request.
