Film "By Educators for Educators: The Individual Characteristics (...)" (1979)

On display here are first 10 minutes of a half-hour television program entitled "The Individual Characteristics of Students" (Die individuellen Besonderheiten der Schüler). The German Broadcasting Archive (Deutsches Rundfunkarchiv, DRA) has the complete recording, which was recorded in Berlin-Adlershof in 1979 and broadcast in November of the same year as part of the GDR television series "By Educators for Educators" (Von Pädagogen für Pädagogen).

In the report, moderator Wilfried Möse discusses the topic of "individual support for students" with studio guests Edgar Drefenstedt (Head of the Institute for Pedagogical Theory at the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the GDR, → leading pedagogical institutions) and Gerhard Tenner (teacher of German and geography at the "Heinrich Heine" polytechnic high school in Berlin-Mitte). As an example of the didactic question, the recording of a German lesson that took place with Dr. Tenner and students from an eigth grade class is shown and discussed.
